The coffee plant is a small evergreen tree which is classified in the Rubiacees family and which grows only in the areas between the Tropics. 60 different species exist, but the most popular are for sure the Arabica and the Robusta coffees. Form the Arabica coffee plant the best fruits are extracted and the flavour of the product is delicate and intense.

The Robusta coffee, a less esteemed quality, is characterized by a strong and intense taste and by a greater quantity of caffeine. The coffee plant grows on hilly and well-irrigated grounds and the plantations are at different heights that vary from 200metres to 2200metres,depending o the species. The plant needs a lot of care,since for nature it’s extremely delicate, and to produce high-quality coffee beans humans have always had to do so.
